Postgraduate Certificate

This is the entry level accreditation and contains the three core modules:

• Theory, Dynamics and Processes.
• Structure, Organisation and Strategy.
• Operational Practice.

Successful completion of these modules results in a Postgraduate Certificate, Membership of the IED, and allows progression to the Diploma modules, unless already previously qualified.

Postgraduate Diploma

Comprising two mandatory modules:

• Applied Research Methods and Management.
• Development Appraisal and Impact Analysis.

An additional third module is chosen from:

• Labour Market Analysis and Policies or
• Working with Communities

Completion of the Diploma leads to the option of conversion to a Master of Science Degree.

Master of Science Degree

Developing a deeper knowledge and understanding of the course topic, the MSc requires the student to submit a written 15,000 word thesis, encompassing empirical research and academic investigation resulting in the final degree accreditation.
