Kevin Broughton - Coventry University
Module Leader: Working with Communities
Kevin is the Module Leader for Module E "Working with Communities" (an optional module for the Diploma). A Research Fellow in sustainable communities, Kevin has vast experience of working with and consulting local communities for evaluations of regeneration initiatives and public services (New Deal for Communities, children's services, social welfare projects involving the voluntary and community sectors).
Previously, Kevin was a Research Consultant at a commercial consultancy; a Research Fellow for the 'National Evaluation of the Children's Fund' at the University of Birmingham (commissioned by the then Department for Education and Skills) and; a Research Assistant for 'Neighbourhoods That Work' - a Joseph Rowntree Foundation-funded study of Bournville's mixed housing estate.
Kevin has a BSocSc in Geography and Planning and an MSc in Economic Geography (Centre for Urban and Regional Studies/School of Geography, University of Birmingham).
